Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’s, the fantastic new trailer!

Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the creative minds behind The Lego Movie and 21 Jump Street, bring their talents to a fresh vision of a different Spider-Man Universe, with a animated visual style that’s the first of its kind.
In this new animated Spider-man movie, the underutilized Miles Morales(voiced by Shameik Moore), who has yet to appear onscreen in live action,  looks to have an adorable relationship with his law-abiding father, meaning we don’t have to watch Uncle Ben die again, or see another rebooted Aunt May.
The big plot-twist to this story is the acknowledgment of alternate realities and alternate web-slingers. We’ve seen so many incarnations of Peter Parker: hopelessly dorky, suave, and an over-excitable kid, but now we’re seeing him as the aged mentor, who frankly, seems like his glory days are long behind him.
The trailer also gives more context for "not-so-interested" fans, about the setting of Into the Spider-Verse in the universe-hopping shenanigans of comic books. According to Morales’ voiceover, the film takes place in another universe, that looks and sounds like yours — but it’s not.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse hits theaters on December 14th.
Take a look into the trailer!
